About Me

Hi! I'm Ella, a passionate Christian and a teen author! Do you know everyone is blessed with certain gifts? Some are born to dance, others are born to sing and I know I was born to write! From the beginning writing has been my passion. God gave me that gift for a reason and now I realize it is time for me to share it! So I published my first book, a seven day teen devotional. I titled it “Stepping Into Joy” because I wanted teens like me to step into the joy God had for them! At first it didn't seem like much but it became an amazing experience! People encountered God’s joy! That is why I write! I want to impact people in the darkest places with the fruit of His spirit. I want to put Him first and glorify Him. I want lives to be changed, mountains to be moved, and hearts to be set on fire for God! This passion that God has set in my heart is something I want others to feel. Everyone should know they are loved, chosen, and forgiven and nothing could even change that! So why do I write? God has sent me on a mission to be a messenger of His word and I'm going to do that one page at a time!

Share how you got started as a writer and why.

I believe that no matter your age you can make a difference! Even if it doesn't feel like much, a simple smile can change someone's life! If a smile can impact a person like that, think of what a card can do or a few homemade cookies. Showing people you care can affect a person's day in an amazing way! God can work through anyone young or old, male or female. He loves us all so much and He wants everyone to know they are loved too! It's time to step out! Sometimes stepping out in faith can be scary but it is always worth it! One of my favorite scriptures says, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” (2 Tim 1:7)  So don't be afraid to use your gifts! Together, we can change the world for God’s glory!
